Growing up, I always thought the field I’d get into would be neurology. That was my “dream job”- learning and understanding the functions and complexities of the brain, and assisting in the areas where there were malfunctions. As I grew older, I became aware and intrigued by people’s emotions. It appeared to me that, as so completely important as the brain is, people somehow seemed to be motivated very much by their emotions rather than, or in combination with, their logic.
